Kidd appears in the chapter. Luffy and Zoro get together, Apoo discovers them and reports it to Queen. Luffy begins rampaging. Kidd says they (we) should be able to relax a little now. Zoro appears, he originally wanted to calm Luffy down, but after learning the reason behind his anger, he gets mad as well. Queen wants to get rid of someone from the Tobbi Roppo, and then hand their vacated seat to whoever captures Luffy and Zoro.

Kin'emon's party tries to pass by Black Maria's residence because there's no people, but they encounter Big Mom.
Chopper is hiding in a tank. Big Mom makes eye contact with Chopper.

Summary
Chapter 986: "My name" (Oda uses "sessha" in "my", like samurai talked).

In the cover, Lola and Chiffon don't believe Pound is their father so they set sail without him.

Denjiro and Kinemon reach the back door of the castle. Kiku and Raizo are crying, Kanjuurou is lying on the ground with blood around him. They walk past Kanjuro and enter into the castle.

All Orochi's subordinates (ninja and samurai) swear allegiance to Kaidou (they have no loyalty to Orochi to begin with). Kaidou still can't believe that Momonosuke is actually Oden's son, so he will ask Momonosuke the same question he asked 20 years ago ("What's your name?"). If Momonosuke answers that he isn't Oden's son, Kaidou will spare his life.

Luffy and Yamato side. Luffy takes out Yamato's handcuff and throw them away in case handcuff blows up. Ulti and Who's Who (both are separated) receive a report saying that Luffy and Yamato are heading to the stage, so they are heading there too. Page One isn't with Ulti.

Usopp, Chopper and the Red Scabbards are heading to the stage too. Law is walking somewhere in the castle. Kid and Zoro are still fighting Kaidou's men.

Back to the stage, Momonosuke replies Kaidou's question. He announces he's Kozuki Momonosuke, son of Kozuki Oden and that he will be the shogun of Wanokuni. When Momonosuke finishes, he has some emotional thoughts and flashbacks about his parents.

When Kaidou is about to kill Momonosuke, the wall explodes because of Yamato's handcuff. The bomb in Yamato's handcuff seems to be way stronger than normal prisoners' bombs.

Yamato is very angry now that she knows Kaidou actually would kill her, so she won't regard Kaidou as her father anymore. But Luffy stops "Yama-o" (he's using "o", which means man, like he does with Law (Torao) and Kid (Gizao)) and says they are not the one who will officially begin this battle.

Then, the Red Scabbards barge through the wall behind Kaidou in the stage. Izou shots the sword off King's hand. Kaidou shouts that their swords are useless against him. But as the Red Scabbards jump at him.

Kaidou has a flashback about the day he almost lost to Oden and sees the image of Oden jumping at him at the same time the Red Scabbards jump. Kaidou stops for a second. The Red Scabbards shout "Sunacchi!!" and attack Kaidou.

Kawamatsu blocks King with his katana, Inuarashi does the same with Jack and Queen. Nekomamushi almost reaches Kaidou with his claw but Kaidou grabs his head. Ashura, Kiku and Raizou are behind the other. Kinemon and Denjiro are the only one that strab their swords in Kaidou's body.

After the attack, Kaidou and the Red Scabbards fall off the stage...

-The minks unveil their sulong forms
Jack and the Gifters keep coming up to the top of the dome, but Sicilian, Giovanni and Conslot's coordinated "Electrical Parade" wipes them out!
-Kaidu vs. Neko Denjiro, and Ashura Douji
-The Cat fights with one hand holding one of its two tails in the other.
-Sicilian and the others struggle with Jack, but Inu comes to their rescue.
-Inu Sicilian, Giovanni, Conslot, Raizo vs. Jack

Inside the dome,

-Queen orders the Numbers to kill the Wano samurai, the patrol group is targeted and all hell breaks loose.
-Shinobu and the others who rescued the Momonoske are found by King, but Sanji goes in to save them.
King: "You would give me an arm and a leg and everything you have for a man's life? Reach out and help him, and I will surely swing my sword in your face.

-Brooke is reunited with Big Mom.
-When I thanked him for Road Poneglyph on Whole Cake Island, he asked me about the location of Road Poneglyph, which is supposedly on Onigashima, and he got mad at me.
Brooke said, "In addition, I would like to ask you about the Road Poneglyph that is also believed to be located here on Onigashima. Where is it located? Miss.

Chapter 989: "I don't feel like we are losing".

In the cover, Pound shows a locket that contains a photo with child Lola and Chiffon to prove he's their father. The photo was taken while Pound was kicked out of the room by Big Mom, so half the photo is Big Mom's feet.

Kaidou's subordinates are shocked and start running away since they know Big Mom is about to go crazy and they don't want to stay there.

Luffy starts climbing up to Onigashima's roof to fight Kaidou. Luffy tells Shinobu that Yamato is on their side. Yamato is blushing when she tells Momonosuke "Hi. I'm Oden and I will protect you". Momonosuke and Shinobu are shocked and run away from Yamato.

Big Mom gets up after Franky attack without wounds. The Yakuza bosses discuss that they should go fight Tobiroppo to buy more time instead of wasting time fighting lower-rank subordinates from Kaidou's crew. Franky introduces himself to Big Mom. Nami tells Franky to run, since he's up against one of the Yonkou.

Franky: "Why should we run just because she's a Yonkou? Do you still intend to make our captain Pirate King?"

Franky is about to shoot his beam at Big Mom but 3 Numbers appears. They are all drunk and look like onis (like Nangi in last chapter). Big Mom says they are the failed version of "Ancient Giants" (like Oars) that Kaidou bought from Punk Hazard.

One of the Numbers is holding the Brachio Tank with Usopp and Chopper. Franky shoots a beam in its face. Big Mom is about to attack Franky (she calls him "Iron Man") but Jinbe grabs Big Mom's arm from behind and throws her to the ground.

Robin springs tons of hands from the ground and roll Big Mom until she crashes into the other side of the room. Jinbe says Big Mom will soon be back angrier than ever. Franky announces it's time to assemble Franky Shougun.

Luffy climbs up to the stage and meets Zoro, who happens to appear at the door behind the stage. They decide to go up for Kaidou together, ignoring Queen. Zoro grabs Luffy then he uses "Gomu Gomu no Rocket" to fly up.

However Queen transforms into a dinosaur and grabs them with his mouth. Above Queen's head, we can see King and other flying Gifter that are waiting to block anyone that want to go for Kaidou. Sanji gets up from the rubbles, he's fine thanks to the suit that protected him.

Queen throws Luffy and Zoro back down on the floor. Hyogoro smiles and says that, although there are so many obstacles, it doesn't feel like they are losing at all. In the last double page, we can see Straw Hat Pirates standing together at last facing Numbers, Queen and King.

Chapter 990 - "The Orphan"

Numbers fight the Straw Hat crew before he escapes
Drake joins up with Luffy and states that he is a one-man army, so they fight together

Chapter 990: “Isolated force”

In the cover, Lola and Chiffon remember how Big Mom used to tell them that their father always came crawling back no matter how many time she kicked him out. So Lola and Chiffon belive Pound and throw him ropes.

Sasaki is now free thanks to Big Mom's attack, that destroyed the tree where he was tied up.

The Minks are crushing Kaidou’s forces and attacking Jack, that is covered in wounds. But Jack still manages to fight and strikes down many Minks. Kinemon sees injured Minks and steps forward to face Jack, but Inuarashi and Nekomamushi stop him. Both of them transform into huge Sulongs but we only see their silhouettes. Jack seems quite intimidated by Inuarashi and Nekomamushi.

In the stage floor King calls the Tobiroppo. He orders them to stop search Yamato and summoning them to help to stop anyone who are trying to go up to fight Kaidou. King adds that, due to changes in the situation, the previous challenge between Tobiroppo and the Calamities is cancelled.

We see an injured hawkins sitting in the same room as Drake. Drake tells him that he knows Hawkins was forced to join this group and if he would like to betray them, now would be a good time to do it. Hawkins is looking at his card, he says the chance of “one man’s survival” until tomorrow is 1%.

Ulti is reunited with Page One. The other Tobiroppo get King's message and seems to be follwing the order.

Who's Who appears at Drake's room. He asks Drake to come and help him since "it would be difficult to handle this by himself”. Drake asks what he means.

Who's Who: “This is a good chance. I'm going to kill the guy that I want to kill. Let's go to see Queen”.

Drake asks why does he hate Queen so much that he would like to cause infighting at time like this, but still follows Who's Who.

Back to the main stage, the samurai are crushing Kaido's subordinates. The Oniwaban come out to fight the samurai but Fukurokuju turns his back to the battle and walks somewhere else. Hotei notices it and seems confused.

Samurai tries to attack Numbers' feet to clear the way for the Straw Hat Crew, saying they should save their strength for Kaidou’s battle. One of the Numbers swings his mace down at the samurai, but Zoro cut it in half and Jinbe stops the part that fly away with one hand to save some samurai.

Luffy: “Oars-sized enemies? Back then we need an entire crew to take one of these down, but we are different now.”

Luffy transforms into Gear 4. Hyogoro thinks how Luffy appearance reminds him of Myo-o.

Cut again to Drake that is being beaten with blood on his face in front of Queen and surrounded by Who's Who and Hawkins. It’s revealed that the one they all want to kill is Drake all along. Queen was informed by someone that they saw Drake freeing Law from prison. Hawkins also says he suspected Drake is the only one who can do it.

They ask Drake who he works for and what is his goal. Drake thinks that there's no getting out of it now. He can't run anywhere and he also cannot go back to the Marines. But then he remembers what Coby told him about Luffy and thinks there's still hope.

Drake jumps down from the stage and cuts down one of the Numbers with "X Caliber" attack. At the same time, Luffy attacks another Number with the “Gomu Gomu no Kong Gun”. Both attacks take down Numbers.

Then Drake announces to Luffy that he's separated from Kaidou’s crew. He’s an isolated force now.

Drake: “Please let him join!”

Luffy: “Ehh!?”

Chapter 991: “Please let us die!”.

In the cover, Pound hugs Lola and Chiffon for the first time in 26 years T_T

Drake thinks about his conversation with Koby. Koby said him that Luffy has the power to attract other people.

Zoro blocks Drake, he sais he can't trust him. Jinbe warns Drake that there are rules of honor even in pirate world, so he can't trust either in someone who switch side easily.

Luffy: "Oh, it's OK. We can fight together."

Zoro & Jinbei: "Shut up you idiot captain!!"

In other part, Page One transforms and attacks samurai but he's hit by Usopp's Midori Boshi: Dokuro Bakuhatsu So (Green Star: Skull Bombgrass).

Ulti tries to find who fired the shot to her brother and she sees Nami.

Nami: "I'm Nami and I love to get rid of lizards like you!!"

However, it's not Nami the one that talks. Usopp is behind Nami, he's the one that said that to Ulti. Nami and Usopp run away, making Page One and Ulti follow them.

- Perospero and Marco are in a meeting with Big Mom, but the negotiations are broken because Big Mom doesn't want to break her alliance with Kaidou.
- Carrot is looking for Perospero to revenge Pedro.
- Yamato is chasing Momonosuke, Shinobu is carrying him and running away.
- Black Maria is singing in the banquet hall inside the castle (I'm not sure of that part).
- Raizou absorbs Kaidou's Boro Breath with a ninja scroll and return the attack to Kaidou.
- At the end of the chapter Ashura, Denjiro, Kinemon and Inuarashi attack together (I'm not sure of that part).

Глава начинается с того, что Большая Мамочка, Перосперо и Марко встречаются и разговаривают (они очень дружелюбны, словно старые друзья). Оказывается, Марко и Перосперо временно заключили союз, чтобы сражаться против Кайдо, но Большая Мамочка говорит Перосперо, что ее решение присоединиться к Кайдо является окончательным.

Перосперо: "Но мы хотим, чтобы ты стала Королем Пиратов!"
Большая Мамочка: "Я знаю. Неужели ты мне не доверяешь?"

После их разговора, Перосперо решает согласиться с решением Мамы. Марко говорит, что на этом их временный союз заканчивается. Большая Мамочка спрашивает Марко, почему человек его калибра решил помочь этим детишкам.

БМ: "Почему остатки команды Белоуса стали такими потерянными?"
Марко: "Мы не связаны словами Белоуса. Мы вольны поступать так, как нам хочется."
БМ: "Ясно. Мертвецу нечего сказать. Тогда поступай как знаешь.


Морковка видит Перосперо и бежит к нему, чтобы отомстить за Педро.
Луффи все еще бежит к замку. Шинобу и Момоноске все еще убегают от Ямато.
Черная Мария ждет на верхнем этаже замка, она поет песню для своих подчиненных. Эта песня о двух людях, которые очень сильно хотят встретиться друг с другом и, наконец, встречаются при лунном свете в снежную ночь.

In the cover, Blackbeard is brushing his teeth with a hippo.

Tama runs away on Komachiyo, along with Nami and Usopp on its back. Tama explains that she came here on "an enemy's ship", but gives no further explanation. Nami is fine, Usopp is conscious but he can't talk properly.

Hihimaru (the baboon) appears and blocks Page One, who is chasing Komachiyo. Tama tells Hihimaru to help to stop the enemy for 3 minutes. Nami says the baboon won't stand a chance against Page One and Ulti. Tama replies.

Tama: "Don't look down on us! We came here to fight as samurai!!"

Cut to Yamato. She can't fight properly becouse she has to block bullets from hitting Momonosuke. Shinobu asks Yamato something.

Shinobu: "If you are a samurai, then make a decision. Take Momonosuke-sama and leave me here!"

Yamato: "Kouzuki Oden would never do such a thing."

Sasaki sees that his Armored Troop has lost a lot of men, so he prepares to join the fight himself. Sasaki grabs his sword but then Yamato starts to transform. Her teeth become sharp and there's a growl coming from her mouth. Sasaki seems shocked to see it.

But at that moment, Franky Shogun runs into the scene followed by Haccha. Haccha hits the floor and it collapses. Yamato takes this chance and grabs Momonosuke and Shinobu, then she jumps down below.

Yamato says to Franky that she is leaving Sasaki to him, since Luffy ordered her to protect Momonosuke. But when she's falling in midair, Yamato uses attack "Narikabura", sending a powerful shockwave from her kanabo that knocks out Haccha in one attack. Then she talks with Momonosuke.

Yamato: "You have to live on. The one who will bring this world to its dawn... is you!!"

Cut to underground 2nd floor of Onigashima. Law cuts through Kaidou's men and reaches a Poneglyph. It seems this one isn't a red Poneglyph. Law thinks back to a conversation with Robin.

Law revealed his real name (Trafalgar D. Water Law) to Robin since he thinks she may know the meaning of “D”. However Robin said him that she doesn't know it either, but she's also interested in finding out. Robin told him the only way to know the meaning would be to obtain the red Poneglyphs, which means they need to take down the Yonkou.

Law stands in front of the Poneglyph, thinking about Corazon's words (“D” are the God's natural enemy) and murmurs to himself.

Law: "Cora-san, I really want to know the true meaning of this unfortunate fate..."

Cut to 3rd floor of Onigashima, Kid is running up to the roof with Killer. Kid assembles all metals he found in the castle, so now he has a massive pile of metal parts attached to his arm. Kid asks Killer if this is too much.

Killer: "We are up against the world's strongest pirate. Too much preparation isn't a bad thing!"

Cut to the top floor of Onigashima. Kaidou is beating the Red Scabbards with his kanabo. They put up a fight but all of them are bloodied.

Cut back to the main stage of Onigashima. Big mom flies back into the room, everyone panics. But Big Mom says.

Big Mom: "Don't worry. I only have business on the top floor, where Kaidou is."

Chapter ends in the 2nd floor. Luffy's group is about to reach the stairs to the 3rd floor. Sanji suddenly hears the sound of a woman coming from third floor, she is screaming and playing "yoi de wa nai ka" (よいではないか that means "That's OK" or "No problem").

Someone is pulling the woman kimono's obi off, Sanji is shocked...
