Continuing the events of the last chapter, Arthur is on the floor writhing in pain, so Elizabeth rushes over to him to heal him.
-That monster cat... tore his arm off, -said Ban.
-Merlin? -Wasn't that Arthur's friend? -said Diane.
The lady of the lake explains that Cath is behind Arthur's power and the chaos. On hearing this, Merlin is surprised and asks if she knows his identity.
-He is the embodiment of the desire and obsession for power born of chaos, -said the lady of the lake. -And he is seeking the power to become the king of Chaos... the tyrant who fights against Chaos... Casparing.
As it turns out, long ago Casparing was sealed by the clan of the goddesses, as he had unleashed much evil on the earth when he was fighting against chaos.
Arthur decides to get up, but Elizabeth tells him that she has not yet finished healing him; however, he gets up. Then Arthur goes to Casparing and tries to talk to him, as he feels that he is still his friend.
-Is there any reason to do this? -said Arthur.
-It was all to make you awaken the power of chaos. HAHAHAHA...
Knowing Casparing's true intentions, Arthur looks down sadly. Then Meliodas orders an attack on that monster. But in that instant, Casparing begins his attack. The earth begins to deform.
-Watch out! -This isn't a hallucination either! -exclaimed Meliodas.
The Seven Deadly Sins begin their attack, but it seems that they can't do anything to Casparing.
-Answer me once more," said Arthur, "what am I to you?
-My delicious rice that I have been holding. So don't resist any longer, and let yourself be eaten.
Hearing that, Arthur awakens the power of the sacred sword, and is now determined to end Casparing.
-I'm impressed. -It's amazing, Arthur! -said Casparing.
Casparing asks Arthur to please let himself be eaten, but Arthur tells him he is relieved to hear that, as he will be able to kill him without hesitation. Then Casparing starts the attack. Arthur jumps up and cuts Casparing in half. In this way, the evil cat dies.
Arthur falls unconscious, but Merlin runs quickly to him and manages to hold him down.
-Merlin... -Let's get King Arthur to Lyon as soon as possible! -said Elizabeth.
Merlin thanks Elizabeth for her kindness. Then she apologises to everyone for what she did, and finally sends them back to the kingdom of Lyon, leaving her alone with Arthur.
-My master Arthur. I will protect you even if it means changing my life...
