In a gag scene, Urek and Baek go "you first", "no, you first", "no, you" for a while.
Meanwhile Ari Todd, who is watching, asks Urek not to interfere and to leave. Urek tells Baek he'll wait for him outside.
Fat Ari says they aren't just people of interest, they are risk factors that have to be removed, and tells Todd to report to the family, so they can handle it properly.
-Garam's test: she opens 9 water pipes. Garam asks the examiners if Yuram Zahard passed through here, they reply she's been here around 100 years ago. When asked by Garam, the examiners answer Yuram opened 11 water pipes. Garam thinks she was 3 short then (idk why 3 and not 2, maybe an error).
-The Ari examiners think about Garam that they weren't informed a princess was climbing up, then with the lighthouse see the next in line is Enzo. The fat one recognizes Enzo and tells Todd to rig the test and make Enzo pass even if he fails. This is because Enzo is the son of a high-ranking member of the Ari family and if they upset that member, it would spell trouble for them
Baek followed Urek and asks confirmation about Urek coming from outside (he told him on floor 3). When Urek responds affirmatively, Baek asks if there is a "moon" outside the Tower. Urek is surprised and asks if Baek is also from the outside, and this reaction makes Baek understand the moon indeed exists on the outside. Baek was born inside the Tower and heard about the moon from his father.
Urek asks if Baek's father came from the outside then, but Baek replies his father also just heard it from other people. It's a story that has been passed down from generation to generation. Baek's father told Baek about it when Baek's power manifested and he started to climb the Tower. The sun makes everything bright, while the moon shines in the darkness.
The power given to Baek is the power to illuminate the darkness, and it was handed down from someone who came from outside the Tower. This power makes it so what was hidden in the dark recesses of the Tower will reveal itself to Baek. Things like that monster that attacked him earlier. Also, Baek heard that he had to wait at the lowest point of the Tower for someone coming from outside the Tower, and if he would be together with them, he could bring a massive wave into the Tower.
Urek understands this is why Baek was following him, but says the one he was waiting for could also not be him. -1 day later: Regulars quarters on Floor 5 An observer comes to Baek Ryun and from it Ari Bolt, the examiner of this floor, tells Baek he can use his All-Pass priviledge to take a test that will make him go up to floor 10 in one go. Baek can also bring companions with him, who will also benefit from passing it, but there are some conditions. For each companion Baek brings with him, the difficulty of the test will go up. Baek's team can have a maximum of 5 members and 5 is the maximum difficulty for this test.
Baek goes and asks Urek to join him for the all-pass test and Urek is happy and agrees right away. Urek (against Baek's will) also wants to invite other 3 people and face the hardest difficulty. Baek goes along with it. Urek introduces Rohan, Evelyn and Werber to Baek. Baek warns the 3 the test is going to be very difficult for them, but each of them are determined to stick with Urek. Baek then sends the info to the test examiner.
After receiving it, Ari Bolt says it's now time to pick the "other side", and sends a message to Garam (who is in a bikini outside a pool), Gogojung, Enzo and Nameless Princess (who has Latour playing a lute by her side) The message says: "you have been selected as the opposing team, if you win the game you can steal the all-pass"
-The next day, at the all-pass test location (the same building we saw at the end of last chapter), Ari Bolt introduces himself to Baek's group and introduces the opposing team. Garam, Nameless and the others enter the room. Garam complains they didn't tell them anything about taking this test, with Gogojung shouting "betrayers!" Ari Bolt explains they will compete against each other and only the one who will remain standing here till the very end will receive the all-pass to get to the 10th Floor The objective of the test is the following: soon, the daughter of a high-ranking member of the Ari Family will be getting married at the top of this building. Their task is to eliminate the groom before the wedding ceremony ends.
-Flashback: Baek's father (silhouette) is talking to Baek: "Listen carefully, Baek Ryun. That power is a power that must not appear in this world. Guided by your moonlight, all sorts of ominous things would crawl out into this world. Even outside the Tower, there is no need to shine a light on the darkness. You...
